Quite simply, certain colours go well with that person's colourings. Skin tone, eye colour, and hair colour; you have to think about all of these things when choosing clothing and makeup or when changing your natural hair colour. Too many people do not pay attention to the simple rules of colour theory. The result of this can be looking washed out or appearing older than your age.
