sickly It seems harmless, but are you sure sugar is not threatening your life? SWEET W aisle, or visiting the local shopping centre – it is virtually impossible to avoid exposure to one of the most insidious threats to good health. In fact, so conditioned are most people to this potentially poisonous substance, that they are not even offended by its ready availability and shameless seductive nature. And to add insult to injury, this potential killer comes in pretty packaging and delivers an addictive hether you are opening the pantry door, walking down the supermarket hit of pleasure every time it passes from fingertips to tastebuds. Unlike other potential killers - cigarettes, alcohol or recreational drugs – this little pick-me up is freely available, regardless of age or status. That's right, it's time to put down that Mars Bar/gourmet organic juice/ sticky bun / muesli bar / loaf of bread….piece of fruit….and start thinking about the consequences of unrestricted sugar intake.
