Victoria, The Butchart Gardens. This morning visit The Butchart Gardens before the crowds and enjoy breakfast in the original Butchart residence. With exclusive access to the gardens before they open to the general public, you'll relish the chance to inspect the incredible display of blooms in true serenity. Afterwards, spend the afternoon on your selected sightseeing experience. Perhaps join a whale watching cruise, looking for dorsal fins on the horizon. Or, take in the views on a seaplane flight, learn about the city's heritage district on a guided tour, fish for salmon, ride through Victoria in a horse-drawn carriage or delight in afternoon tea at The Fairmont Empress Hotel. Enjoy the evening all to yourself. B Day 3. Victoria, Georgia Strait, Whistler. Make a brief stop in Chemainus before riding the ferry across Georgia Strait. Treasure the scenery as you travel north along the spectacular Sea to Sky Highway, passing Shannon Falls before arriving at Whistler. Perhaps take a one-hour floatplane flight from Victoria to Whistler (own expense). Arrive in Whistler by midday and enjoy more time at leisure. Two Night Stay: The Westin Whistler Resort & Spa. BD ALPINE WONDERS & WILDLIFE Day 4. Whistler. For an insight into the heritage of Canada's indigenous people, enjoy breakfast and a tour at the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre this morning. Later, step out and discover the famous alpine landscapes of Whistler as you choose from a number of activities. Will you take an eco-trek to Lost Lake or enjoy a stunning floatplane flight? Perhaps explore Whistler Mountain on a 4x4 or snowcat adventure, enjoy a mountain Jeep safari, ride the Peak 2 Peak Gondola or set out on a tree trek or zip trek. B Day 5. Whistler, Sun Peaks. Bid farewell to Whistler after breakfast this morning and travel through the lush Coast Mountains as you follow the historic tracks of the early gold rush pioneers through the Cariboo region. Make a stop at both Duffey and Seton lakes, travel via the remote rural town of Lillooet, then arrive in Sun Peaks. Canada's second largest ski area, this lovely village is set beneath three famous summits. Stay: Sun Peaks Grand Hotel. BD Day 6. Sun Peaks, Blue River, Mt Robson, Jasper. On arrival in Blue River, board a custom- designed boat and skim over the waterways, watching for the grizzly and black bears that are frequently sighted here, as well as other native creatures. Afterwards, join the Yellowhead Highway and before crossing into Alberta, stop to take in views of the south face of Mt Robson, the highest peak in the Rockies.
