Take some time to settle in to your room then meet your fellow travellers at a Welcome Dinner. Two Night Stay: Vancouver Island, Delta Victoria Ocean Pointe Resort & Spa (or similar). D Day 2. Victoria, The Butchart Gardens. This morning visit The Butchart Gardens before the crowds and enjoy breakfast in the original Butchart residence. With exclusive access to the gardens before they open to the general public, you'll relish the chance to inspect the incredible display of blooms in true serenity. Afterwards, spend the afternoon on your selected sightseeing experience. Perhaps join a whale watching cruise; take a seaplane flight; learn about the city's heritage district on a guided tour; fish for salmon; ride in a horse-drawn carriage; or delight in afternoon tea at The Fairmont Empress Hotel. The evening is at leisure so you may explore as you wish. B Day 3. Victoria, Georgia Strait, Whistler. Pause in the town of Chemainus before taking the ferry across Georgia Strait. Treasure the scenery as you travel north along the spectacular Sea to Sky Highway, passing Shannon Falls before arriving at Whistler. Perhaps take a one-hour floatplane flight from Victoria to Whistler (own expense). Arrive in Whistler by midday and enjoy more time at leisure. Stay: The Westin Whistler Resort & Spa. BD Day 4. Whistler, Sun Peaks. Bid a fond farewell to Whistler this morning as you head for your next ski resort village – Sun Peaks. Today's journey takes you through the lush Coast Mountains as you follow the historic tracks of the early gold rush pioneers through the rugged Cariboo region. You'll make a brief stop at Duffey and Seton lakes and travel via the remote town of Lillooet. Arrive later at Sun Peaks, Canada's second largest ski area set beneath three famous summits – Mt Tod, Sundance Mountain and Mt Morrisey. Dinner this evening will be set for you at your hotel. Stay: Sun Peaks Grand Hotel. BD CANADA'S AWE-INSPIRING ROCKY MOUNTAINS Day 5. Sun Peaks, Mt Robson, Blue River, Jasper. On arrival in Blue River, skim over the waterways watching for the grizzly and black bears that are frequently sighted here. After, join the Yellowhead Highway and stop to take in views of Mt Robson, before arriving in Jasper where you'll enjoy the grand Canadian lodge experience. Stay: Jasper National Park, The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. BLD Day 6. Jasper, Athabasca Glacier, Lake Louise. Join the Icefields Parkway and wind through the majestic scenery of the Canadian Rockies. After pausing to take in Maligne Canyon and Athabasca Falls, stop at the giant Columbia Icefield. Here, journey right onto the surface of Athabasca Glacier. Later, in Banff National Park, admire Peyto Lake before continuing on to Lake Louise and The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.
