You're in for a treat as your Tour Director reveals to you the city's most beautiful attractions on a leisurely morning tour. Visit Stanley Park, a world-class, 400-hectare evergreen oasis located just steps away from downtown Vancouver. Then head to Granville Island, the bustling heart of Vancouver's cultural scene, and wander amid the colourful public market. You'll also see English Bay, before enjoying the afternoon and evening to spend at your leisure. You may like to wander through the old cobblestone streets of Gastown, the birthplace of Vancouver, whilst others may prefer to visit the shopping mecca of Robson Street. Those seeking tranquillity can admire Queen Elizabeth Park. B ROCKY MOUNTAINEER RAIL JOURNEY Day 3. Vancouver, Rocky Mountaineer, Kamloops. Step aboard the Rocky Mountaineer today and relax in the comfort of your GoldLeaf carriage as you set out into the mountains along this awe-inspiring route. See the towering peaks of the Coast Mountains, pass the thundering waters of Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon and glide past the steep rocky slopes as your train follows the Thompson River on its way to the city of Kamloops, where you will stay overnight. Follow the North Thompson River through the Monashee Mountains and past Pyramid Creek Falls – where glacier-fed Pyramid Creek tumbles out of a hanging valley into the river below. After taking in the sight of Mt Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, you'll climb over the Yellowhead Pass on the way to Jasper National Park, where your rail journey concludes.
