Five hours across the glistening Pacific lies Samoa. Life here ambles along at its own measured pace. Partly it's the balmy tropical weather.
But it's also the Samoan way, called Fa'a Samoa. Remember Sunday lunch? We still have it religiously. We go to church. We have a family feast. And we rest. That's Sunday. It's the Samoan way.
Now this might seem quaint and old-fashioned. But after 3000 years of practice we've found it's good for people to slow down. If only for one day of the week.
