Located directly east of the tip of the Baja Peninsula, 17 gorgeous miles of
pristine beach are what defines the "Pearl of the Pacific," but it's the outstanding
beaches and abundant marine life that gives it luster. The Old Mazatlan historic
center, lined with 19th century architecture, markets, cafés, churches and plazas,
and a Malecón with great shopping and dining provide a frame for this pearl,
accented by oceanfront golf courses. The presence of two marinas has also
made Mazatlan an important site for international fishing tournaments; but
some prefer to anchor down in the Golden Zone, where wonderful resorts
make pampering their daily mission.
Enjoy an awesome
panoramic view from the "Faro"
at Creston's Peak, the second
largest lighthouse in the world.
