Explore the South China Pearl Museum, covering the fascinating 1,700 year history of pearling in the South China Sea with displays and demonstrations. There are also beautiful pieces to buy. Fly to Shanghai for a four night stay. (B, L, D) DAY 18: DAY TOUR TO SUZHOU Travel to Suzhou, renowned for its gardens, and experience one of its finest, the Humble Administrator's Garden. Cruise the Grand Canal and visit a traditional silk mill before returning to Shanghai to dine on local cuisine. (B, L, D) DAY 19: SHANGHAI Sightseeing today starts in the Old Town of Shanghai, where cobbled streets are lined with traditional shops. Take a walk through moon gates and latticed pavilions in the peaceful Yu Gardens, then on to the historical riverfront area, the Bund. (B, L, D) DAY 20: SHANGHAI Cross the Nanpu Bride to explore the modern Pudong District. Afterwards, discover the restored Xintiandi area, with its unique 1920s-style shikumen buildings. In the evening, enjoy a cruise on the panoramic Huangpu River to view the picturesque nightscape of this exciting city.
