open your eyes to the real south africa (10 Days/9 nights) ESCORTED lUXURy ITInERARy DAy 1: Arrive at Cape Town International Airport, then transfer to your hotel, the One&Only Cape Town, for the first of your three nights there. DAy 2: Today, head to Table Mountain for panoramic views of Cape Town, then delve into the history of South Africa at Robben Island. Stop at the South Africa Museum and Cape Castle on your way back to the hotel, where you'll enjoy downtime before your Jazz Evening Tour begins. (B, D) DAy 3: Experience the city like a local as you browse the arts and crafts markets or try a hands-on cooking session in a family home. This evening, an opulent South African feast is served at Gold Restaurant. (B, D) DAy 4: After breakfast, depart Cape Town for Hermanus and its Kleinbaai Harbour, where you will board a boat for whale watching. Transfer to The Marine Hermanus for your overnight stay. (B) DAy 5: Your full-day tour of the Winelands features stops at two of the region's famous wine estates. Learn about the glorious history of winemaking as you sample some of the prize-winning blends. Also stop at the Huguenot Museum, Tall Monument, and for a unique chocolate tasting experience at Huguenot Fine Chocolates along the way. End the day with a transfer to Le Quartier Francais, your home for the night. (B, L, D) DAyS 6 – 7: Transfer from Franschhoek to Cape Town Station to begin your luxurious 24-hour journey on board the Blue Train, from Cape Town to Pretoria. Highlights include a visit to the historic village of Matjiesfontein. Upon arrival in Pretoria, you will be met and transferred to a local restaurant for lunch. Later, witness the age-old tradition of African handwashing and face painting ceremonies. Explore the works of art of the Johannesburg National Art Gallery, then check in at The Fairlawns Hotel. (B, L, D) DAy 8: Transfer to O.R. Tambo International Airport for your flight to The Sabi Sands Game Reserve. Once you arrive, you will be transferred to the Chitwa Chitwa Lodge for your two-night stay. Experience your first game drive this afternoon. (B, L, D) DAy 9: Spend today at Chitwa Chitwa Lodge. Discover the beautiful animals of South Africa with two exciting game drives, as well as an exciting walking safari.
