Julia Morrison Kegelmaster New Zealand
Business description: Distribution of the original and patented Kegelmaster, a pelvic floor exerciser with an exceptionally high success rate for treating all kinds of incontinence and prolapse.
Role/Title: Proprietor Do you have children: Yes, two grown- up daughters living overseas. Hardest thing about starting your business: Starting at a time of the year when everybody else is thinking about Christmas. Best thing about having your own business: Being independent and in control of my life – and my time! Date the business was founded: The
business was founded in 2007 and I took it over in November 2011.
What made you start the business: I was looking for challenging and inspiring work and saw this business for sale. With a background in sales & marketing and a passion for helping people I thought this was the perfect fit.
Future goals and aspirations: I want to make this business large enough that it can support me in order to have time to do some voluntary work. Living in New Zealand I was never able to support my mother in Germany as she was getting older. Therefore I'd love to help elderly people with their shopping and paperwork, which they are unable to do by themselves.
