That is why our onboard art is very much an ode to our Nordic heritage. We have carefully selected a diverse spectrum of work by established as well as up-and-coming artists, most of whom are Norwegian, to complement the Scandinavian-inspired interiors of our ships. NORWEGIAN ART AT SEA This connection to our heritage is reflected in the more than 700 artworks found on board every one of our ocean ships. It is the largest collection of Norwegian art at sea and encompasses a variety of media and approaches. From oil paintings and photography to sculpture, ceramics and intricately crafted model ships, the collection is remarkably diverse. Pieces are displayed throughout dining venues, lounges, corridors and staterooms, enriching every corner of the vessel. MUNCH MOMENTS Among the many artists represented on board, Norwegian Expressionist, Edvard Munch holds a special place. Through an exclusive partnership with Oslo's Munch Museum, Viking has the digital rights to the artist's complete catalogue, allowing guests to experience his work in a unique way. Each afternoon, our onboard 'Munch Moments' event brings a curated selection of his masterpieces to life on the Atrium's large screen. Organised around a different theme each day, these displays reveal the breadth of Munch's artistic vision, from flower motifs to dramatic landscapes and seascapes. AN IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE For those wishing to explore further, the complimentary Viking Voyager app offers a self-guided tour of your ship's extensive art collection. Discover the stories behind the works, learn about the artists and gain deeper insight into the traditions that have shaped Nordic art across generations. More than a collection, our onboard art is a continuation of the cultural journey you will experience with Viking. MUNC H MOMENT S , THE ATR IUM
