MORE WAYS TO EXPLORE
ON EUROPEAN RIVER VOYAGES
We have expanded our range of optional experiences
across Europe. One of the most distinctive additions is a
series of Zeppelin airship excursions over Cologne and
the Ruhr Valley, offering a unique bird's-eye perspective
of the Rhine region. We have also introduced new small-
group experiences and guided land extensions across
destinations including Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, Belgium
and the Netherlands, giving guests even more ways to
Europe's culture, history and traditions before or after
their river voyage.
OBERAMMERGAU RETURNS IN 2030
We have announced three new voyages featuring the
2030 Oberammergau Passion Play. Performed once
every decade for almost 400 years, the production
draws global visitors to the Bavarian village of
Oberammergau. Our new itineraries, Oberammergau,
Innsbruck & the Rhine; Oberammergau with Salzburg
and Oberammergau, The Passion Play, combine this
extraordinary event with exploration along the Rhine and
Danube rivers, offering a rare opportunity to experience
one of Europe's most enduring traditions.
NEW MOROCCO EXTENSION
Guests sailing Viking's Pharaohs & Pyramids itinerary can
enhance their journey with our new five-night Morocco
extension. Featuring stays in Marrakech and Casablanca,
the fully guided program offers a deeper exploration of
North Africa's rich culture, architecture and landscapes.
Highlights include the bustling Medina of Marrakech, the
Atlas Mountains, UNESCO-listed Rabat and the vibrant
coastal city of Casablanca. With flights, transfers and a

NEW: JAPAN DISCOVERY
Explore Japan on our new 15-day Japan Discovery
voyage. Sailing roundtrip from Tokyo from August
2028, the itinerary circumnavigates Japan and

including several ports new to Viking. Overnight
