viking.com | 7 W I N T E R I S S U E 3 0 LEARN MORE LEARN MORE New India River Sailings Viking has announced its first river journeys in India with the launch of the Wonders of India itinerary, sailing the Brahmaputra River on board the Viking Brahmaputra®. Debuting from late 2027, the 15-day journey combines an eight-day river cruise in Assam with guided land tours to some of India's most iconic destinations. Sailing between Guwahati and Nimati Ghat, guests will experience life along the Brahmaputra, from riverside villages and temples to wildlife encounters in Kaziranga National Park, alongside India's rich history and cultural landmarks. Strong interest has already seen additional sailings released through to 2029, with a second sister ship, the Viking Ganges®, joining the fleet from 2028. LEARN MORE LEARN MORE VIKING LIBRA TOUCHES WATER FOR THE FIRST TIME In March, we marked another milestone with the float out of the Viking Libra®, the world's first hydrogen-powered cruise ship capable of operating with zero emissions. This moment, when the ship touched water for the first time, signals the transition into the final stage of construction ahead of her debut in November 2026. NEW ZEPPELIN SHORE EXCURSION IN COLOGNE One of our most distinctive new shore excursions offers a rare perspective on the Rhine, from the sky. On select Rhine Getaway and Grand European Tour itineraries, you can now take to the air on a Zeppelin flight over Cologne and the Ruhr Valley. Departing from Bonn Hangelar Airfield, this gentle flight glides above the Rhine, the city's skyline and the UNESCO-listed Cologne Cathedral, offering sweeping views few travellers ever see. Inspired by the Golden Age of air travel, it is a memorable addition for guests looking for something truly out of the ordinary. NEW PARTNERSHIP | THE ROYAL NEW ZEALAND BALLET Viking is proud to partner with the Royal New Zealand Ballet, one of the country's most respected cultural institutions. The collaboration brings together two organisations united by a shared belief in the power of cultural enrichment. As a Major Supporter of the RNZB's 2026 Winter Season, Viking will be associated with landmark productions including Macbeth, Dazzlehands and Sleeping Beauty. Over time, the partnership will also create opportunities for Viking guests to access special cultural experiences, from premium performances to behind- the-scenes insights into one of New Zealand's most celebrated artistic companies. LEARN MORE RIVER FLEET GROWING Our river fleet continues to grow across Europe and Egypt. In Europe, we have welcomed the Viking Eldir®, our newest Viking Longship, purpose-built to sail the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers. Carrying 190 guests, she features the Scandinavian design and serene spaces our river ships are known for. In Egypt, the float out of the Viking Ptah® and the Viking Sekhmet® marks an important milestone as we prepare to welcome two new ships to the Nile in 2026. Viking Ptah Taj Mahal, India
