NEW RIVER SHIPS
2026 is set to be another exciting year for Viking. Along Europe's great
waterways and on the Nile, we have eight new ships joining our fleet.
Five new 190-guest Viking Longships will join their sister vessels sailing the
Rhine, Main and Danube—among them the Viking Haki, the Viking Halogi,
the Viking Rota and the Viking Sjofn. The Viking Fjolvar will expand our
presence on the Seine, while two new 82-guest ships, the Viking Ptah and
the Viking Sekhmet, will strengthen our growing fleet in Egypt as they
sail our popular Pharaohs & Pyramids itinerary.
On the oceans, the spring of 2026 will welcome the Viking Mira, debuting
with journeys across the Mediterranean and Northern Europe during her
inaugural season. Then, in late 2026, we will unveil the Viking Libra—
the world's first hydrogen-powered cruise.
