Being an avid Egyptian history buff, I was completely amazed at my guide's in-depth knowledge
on most aspects of Egyptian history. She went out of her way to explain the hieroglyphics and
the story told on various temple walls. What also impressed me was that this didn't stop once
the excursions finished. Once back on board, we partook in lessons on how to write our names
in hieroglyphics and she took her time to explain the differences in style and drawing to help us
learn ancient Egyptian writing.
