Built in approximately 1400 BC by Amenhotep III and Ramses II, the Temple of Luxor features a cache of statues surrounded by massive pylons and ancient hieroglyphs. INCLUDED DAY 3 - CAIRO Today, you travel to the Giza Plateau. Begin with a visit to the newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum to admire its impressive collection of artefacts, including items from the tomb of King Tutankhamen. Then, witness the grandeur of the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure plus the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the only Wonder of the Ancient World still standing. Capture the moment from atop a camel for that quintessential photo opportunity. As the sun sets, return to your hotel. DAY 4 - LUXOR Take a morning flight to Luxor and embark your ship. Explore the magnificent Karnak Temple, one of the world's largest ancient temple complexes, and marvel at its great Hypostyle Hall. Later, experience the enchanting glow of Luxor Temple under the dusk sky. Enter through the massive pylons and your Egyptologist will interpret the hieroglyphics. Enjoy a relaxing evening on board.
