Spring in Amsterdam is a celebration of colour and culture.
From mid-April to early May, the city and its surrounding
countryside are blanketed in tulips, one of the Netherlands'
most iconic symbols. Keukenhof Gardens, located just
outside the city, showcases over seven million bulbs in
bloom, creating a kaleidoscope of floral displays.
Visitors can cycle through tulip fields, cruise the canals, and
explore flower markets that overflow with seasonal blooms.
The Tulip Festival which runs from mid-March to mid-May
also includes art installations and events that honour Dutch
horticultural heritage.

Seville's Feria de Abril festival
is a vibrant celebration of
Andalusian culture in the
springtime. Held two weeks
after Easter, this week-long
fair features flamenco
dancing, horse parades,
traditional costumes and lively
casetas (tents) filled with
music and tapas. The
fairgrounds are adorned with
lanterns and colourful
decorations, creating a festive
atmosphere.
In addition to exploring
Seville's highlights such as the
magnificent Seville Cathedral
and Plaza España, visitors can
watch locals perform
Sevillanas, ride in horse-drawn
carriages, and sample regional
delicacies like jamón ibérico
and fino sherry.
