the most popular features here include the rock garden, herbaceous borders and the Chinese hillside. From there I travelled to Scone Palace, the seat of the Scottish crown for generations and the site of several coronations. However, the palace is perhaps most famous for the Stone of Destiny, which now resides in Westminster Cathedral in London. There is even a tree planted by James VI of Scotland, the son of one of the most famous rulers of Scotland, Mary Queen of Scots. The garden has an impressive and internationally important collection of conifers alongside a walled garden under restoration.
