Introducing brand new ports to visit.
NEW PLACES TO EXPLORE
At Viking we love crafting new itineraries for our guests to enjoy. Recently we announced 10 new voyages, visiting new ports throughout
Scandinavia, the British Isles and the Mediterranean. Ranging from 8 to 22 days, these new journeys will depart in 2026 and 2027 and will
introduce 13 ports never before visited by Viking's ocean fleet, including sunkissed Palma de Mallorca in Spain; Riga, Lativia's Baltic capital;
Klaipėda, Lithuania's historic port on the Curonian coast; and Limerick located in Ireland's stunning County Clare. Debuting in 2026, you can be
among the first to book and secure your preferred stateroom. Each new voyage will provide the opportunity to explore cultural treasures, savour
regional cuisine and discover fascinating history—all while sailing in Viking comfort. Here is a look at a few of them.
Palma de Mallorca, Spain
Visitors flock to this spectacular haven for
sun, relaxation and Mediterranean breezes.
Remnants of past civilizations abound: the
massive La Seu Cathedral in Palma was
built over a mosque, and the Almudaina
Palace was originally constructed as an
Arabian fort. Composer Frédéric Chopin
spent the winter of 1838 writing some of
his best work in this tranquil setting.
Riga, Latvia
Riga is the largest and most
cosmopolitan of the Baltic
capitals. Here, medieval meets
contemporary in a history and
architecture lover's dream.
Vaulting gothic spires and domes
of ancient churches dot the
narrow cobblestone streets of the
UNESCO-listed Old Town, while
wide boulevards host striking and
ornate examples of stunning
Jugendstil Art Nouveau buildings
in the new town. Upscale shops
mingle with modern art galleries
and hip bars, amid innovative,
candlelit restaurants, creating a
vibrant atmosphere, day or night.
