We have recently introduced a range of new itineraries, ships, ports
and resources so you can explore more of the world in Viking comfort.
New itineraries and
ports to explore
We're thrilled to announce our
2026 and 2027 sailing season
will see the introduction of new
ports and new itineraries
throughout Europe. Ranging
from 8 to 22 days, these new
itineraries will introduce 13 new
ports never before visited by the
Viking ocean fleet such as Riga
in Latvia, KlaipÄ—da in Lithuania,
Limerick in Ireland and Palma de
Mallorca in Spain.
The 22-day Icons of the Viking
Age voyage sails from Bergen to
Copenhagen or vice versa traces
historic viking ports and has
already proven to be a very
popular itinerary. The 8-day
Amalfi Coast, Africa & Iberia
itinerary sails sun-soaked shores
and visits ports such as Tunis,
Sardinia and Valencia. Debuting
in 2026, staterooms are already
selling fast.
Introducing four new epic voyages
We are delighted to announce four
new Viking World Cruises for 2026 and
2027. From strolling through
Singapore's futuristic Gardens by the
Bay to exploring private game reserves
in South Africa, you can discover more
of the world in Viking comfort on one
extraordinary ocean voyage.

The new Viking Vela joins our fleet of ocean sister ships
The Viking Vela is the newest ship in our award-winning ocean fleet of sister ships. Classified as a
small ship, as are all Viking ocean ships, the Viking Vela has a gross tonnage of 54,300 tons, with 499
staterooms that can host 998 guests; the ships feature all veranda staterooms, elegant Scandinavian
design, light-filled public spaces and abundant al fresco dining options. The Viking Vela will spend
her inaugural season sailing itineraries during the Quiet Season in the Mediterranean before
continuing to Northern Europe.
