INCREASED STABILITY & COMFORT Our expedition ships feature both fin stabilisers and U-tank stabilisers that reduce rolling by nearly 50% when the ships are sailing or stationary. An integrated bow creates a longer waterline for the ships and state-of-the-art fin stabilisers allow the ships to glide over the waves for the calmest possible journey. In regions where anchoring is not possible, dynamic positioning mode allows our ships to hover in place for more streamlined exploration while preventing damage to the seafloor. UNIQUE FACILITIES DESIGNED FOR EXPLOR ATION An industry first, this enclosed in-ship marina permits the launch of Special Operations Boats through the ship's slipway, in addition to the side doors on Deck A. The Hangar can be used for the embarkation of Special Operation Boats when weather and other conditions allow. Guests can observe activity in The Hangar from windows on Deck 1, watching small boat maintenance and biosecurity protocols. This space also features FerryBoxes, instruments continuously collecting and displaying data on water quality, oxygen content, plankton composition and more.
