While we offer a myriad of ways for our guests to
indulge their curiosity on board, from informative
lectures on history and wildlife to science
demonstrations and musical performances, we
also know that many of our guests' most treasured
memories are of a much quieter nature: moments
of speechless awe while following in the steps of
intrepid explorers, or inner quietude while marvelling
at wildlife and the changing landscapes passing by.
Our custom-built ships have been designed with
floor-to-ceiling windows throughout, so that every
corner of the ship is akin to a viewing platform.
Your stateroom features an innovative Nordic
Balcony, again with floor-to-ceiling windows with
distortion-free glass that can be lowered to created
a sheltered al fresco lookout. This means wherever
you are onboard, you'll be immersed in some of the
most breath-taking scenery on earth.
"A few hundred meters away, a humpback and her calf were feeding
on krill: diving and surfacing again and again. Around me, close enough
to touch, dozens of penguins leapt in and out of the water, like stitches gliding
through silk. Aside from the splash of the penguins and the blow
of the whales, the silence was absolute.
