Walk a short distance through narrow warrens, passing quaint homes and small shops. You will pause at a traditional house, where your hostess welcomes you. From here, the vast expanse of the tight-knit Casbah stretches before you. Enjoy some customary mint tea before you continue exploring the maze of cobblestone streets, dotted with handicraft stalls and local workshops, with time to browse wooden and brass handicrafts and leather goods. MOROCCAN COOKING CLASS Who doesn't want to discover the secrets to preparing delicious, spiced Moroccan cuisine? La Toque Blanche school of gastronomy is providing travellers an unforgettable Moroccan culinary experience. You can expect an extremely memorable cooking demonstration before enjoying an absolute flavorful lunch. The only place to properly begin a Moroccan cooking class is of course at the bustling Central Market. Here your guide will inform you of the many different local ingredients often used to make traditional dishes, such as Mechoui, Tagine and Baghrir. As you wander through the markets you will find fish, fruit, vegetables and a multitude of spices. From the markets you will proceed to La Toque Blanche. Begin your culinary experience with a refreshment kindly offered on arrival. During an informative cooking demonstration, you will learn about the many spices and methods used to create a variety of Moroccan entrées and desserts. Once the demonstration concludes, the awaited moment arrives. You will be invited to sample the exquisite Moroccan dishes, immersing yourself completely in the Moroccan cuisine.
