When it's time for an adventure off -ship, simply
head to our ground-breaking internal marina, The
Hangar An industry fi rst, The Hangar brings true
comfort to expedition cruising
This enclosed, in-ship marina permits the launch
of small excursion craft through the ship's shell
doors The Hangar's most innovative feature
is the slipway that allows guests to embark on
Special Operations Boats (SOB) shielded from
wind and waves from a stable surface inside the
ship, and once on board, to glide into the water
With just a few easy steps, you'll fi nd yourself
comfortably in an SOB, ready to launch into the
great blue beyond On return, you'll enter via The
Hangar in the Special Operations Boats before
disembarking
Guests can observe The Hangar from the
windows above, witnessing small boat launches,
maintenance and biosecurity protocols
The Hangar also contains FerryBoxes, these
instruments measure important marine
parameters The fl ow through water system
continuously collects and displays data on water
quality, oxygen content, plankton composition
and more

they sail with the ship. It currently houses 16 kayaks, 17 zodiacs, two special
