Bird safe lighting mode is a proprietary lighting
mode developed in partnership with The Cornell Lab
of Ornithology, to deter birds from being attracted
to the onboard lights We advocated for and
implemented 'Whale Safe Speeds' in geofenced areas
of Antarctica to provide better viewing opportunities
and maintain whale safety Our strict biosecurity
measures protect the native fl ora and fauna to
which we sail Our special boot washing machines
ensure we do not contaminate vulnerable remote
environments with non-native fl ora or pathogens, or
transplant foreign organisms to local fl ora
