CROWD-FREE CHECK-IN – To avoid a
congested embarkation, you will be assigned
a boarding time based on your flight arrival.
Check-in counters on board will be spread out
to ensure proper social distancing and will be
sanitised between guests, with a touch-free
online check-in option available. All cruise
port terminals will also be sanitised prior to
guest arrivals.
INDUSTRY-FIRST SANITISATION – In an
industry-first, we are using new sanitisation
robots that utilise UV-C light to treat surfaces
in guest and crew public areas every night,
while you're asleep. All surfaces on your
ship and on motor coaches are continually
disinfected, with daily deep cleanings
scheduled and more hand sanitisation
stations available.
UPDATED MEDICAL SERVICES – Each of
our expedition vessels has a state-of-the-art
Medical Centre, with specialised equipment
and an on board doctor.
SAFETY FROM DOOR TO DOOR – For guests with
flights arranged by Viking Air, the strictest health
and safety protocols are in place both in the air and
on the ground, where there will be smaller group
transfers to and from your ship, and safe distance
between passenger seats.
THE SMALL SHIP ADVANTAGE – Our Norway
registered, expedition ships feature a Nordic
Balcony in every room, host only 378 guests and
boast numerous outdoor spaces, making the risk
of disease infection significantly lower than that
of the mega ships.
