This afternoon, board a glacier and wildlife cruise and travel through the majestic Prince William Sound. Experience the three-mile face of the mighty Columbia Glacier and hear tales of the region as told by the Alaskan crew. Throughout the cruise, keep your eyes out for seals, sea lions, otters, whales and puffins. (B, L) DAY 4: Journey north by motorcoach to Fairbanks, where you'll spend the next two nights. The route takes you along the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and the Trans-Alaska Pipeline. (B) DAY 5: Enjoy a sightseeing tour with a visit to the Fairbanks Museum, time for shopping and dining on your own, and a traditional riverboat cruise on the Chena River. (B) DAY 6: Travel south by motorcoach to Denali National Park, your home for the next two nights. Spend the afternoon at your leisure with a complimentary park service activity or optional tour (options include river rafting, flightseeing, a jet boat safari or a visit to an Iditarod champion's award-winning dog kennel). (B) DAY 7: Experience a six- to eight-hour narrated Tundra Wilderness Tour, and search the vast wilderness for bear, moose, caribou and Dall sheep. (B) DAY 9: Enjoy a brief city tour of Anchorage with a visit to the Alaska Native Heritage Center.
