The best of the rest
The new discipline of slopestyle skiing
could prove another boon to Australia,
with Melbourne's Anna Segal and
Jindabyne's Russ Henshaw both major
players. Segal is the 2011 world champion,
while Henshaw was ranked second in the
pros at the end of the 2012/13 season.
Our aerial ski squad has great depth,
with David Morris capturing a World Cup
gold medal for the first time earlier this
year, while Laura Peel and Danielle Scott
have both featured on the podium.
In snowboard halfpipe, Holly
Crawford and Nate Johnstone are medal
contenders, while Michelle Steele
(skeleton) and Anton Grimus (ski cross)
could surprise.
