Jess wins Miss
Charity Galaxy
Jessica Bridge, Brisbane-based Pel-Air Flight Attendant, has
recently been crowned with the title of Miss Charity Galaxy
at the Miss Galaxy Australia contest.
Miss Galaxy Australia is part of Galaxy Pageants, an
organisation based in Michigan in the United States that
promotes its international Miss Galaxy pageants as 'a personal
development opportunity for women of all nations'.
This accomplishment is another feather in Jessica's cap.
Jess is not only a hardworking flight attendant but is the
founder of her own business, Lil Miss Cakes, and recently
attained her Commercial Pilot's Licence.
Jess, who was sponsored by Tony Goebel from AAG
Aviation Services, represented Queensland at the national
finals of the Miss Galaxy Australia pageant in Sydney in March,
and took out the title of Miss Charity Galaxy after raising the
most money for the event's chosen charity, Make-A-Wish
Australia. The total amount raised for the charity was $80,240.
Jess is now looking forward to being an ambassador
for Make-A-Wish, an organisation that grants the wishes of
children with life-threatening illnesses.
"The kindness one does for one child will not change
the world, but it will change the world for that one child.
I am looking forward to becoming an ambassador for
Make-A-Wish Australia and volunteering within the
community, as well as setting an example for younger
generations. I can't wait," she says.
Congratulations, Jess, on your outstanding achievement!
