'Vitsoe' This image is from MUD Australia store in Soho,
NYC, which was designed by Melbourne studio, Design
Office. I think the classic Vitsoe shelving system looks great.
Along with the gorgeous coloured ceramics and pendant
lights, this retail display is stunning. Photo by Scottie Cameron

Anglepoise - I have three of these Margaret Hawell
Anglepoise Type 75 lamps in off-white and they are great. I
bought them when I became a homeowner six years ago and
still love them. I see that they are now available at Everyday
Needs.

PS cabinet - I have this off-white PS cabinet in my living
room with the TV sitting on top of it. It is an IKEA classic
and I really like how it has been used in this elegant composition from The Design Files. Photo by Sean Fennessy

The Scholar's Set - I profiled Bride Hall on my blog last
year and she showed me her 'The Scholar's Set' that she
created for her 'Bridie Hall at Home' homewares range. I was
instantly taken by the elegant and pure white forms. I would
like to buy this for myself one day.

Shirt - I've ripped a hole in my favourite denim shirt so I
am on the lookout for a new one. I am heading to Los Angeles in a couple of weeks so thinking this Madewell spotted
chambray shirt will hit the spot - excuse the pun.

Land and Marine Mammals - This photograph, Land and
Marine Mammal Store #4, 2006, is by Wellington photographer, Neil Pardington, and was taken behind the scenes at
Te Papa Museum, Wellington. I have work by Neil hanging on
my walls, however this particular one hangs in the living room
of my brother and his wife and it is just stunning.

Antinori Winery - I am heading to a wedding in Tuscany in
June and hoping to visit the recently built Antinori Winery
located between Siena and Florence. The building is designed
to merge within the hills and be invisible. It looks rather spectacular - I shall report back. Photograph by Leonardo Finotti

'Piet Oudolf' - I love a gorgeous garden and this is a recent one that I'm crushing. Designed by Dutch landscape
designer, Piet Oudolf, who is known for the planting design
of NYC's High Line, this is located in Nantucket Island. He
creates drifts of perennials which create a low maintenance
and natural looking landscape. I also love the classic shaped
buildings with the cedar shingles. Photo by Dana Gallagher

Selling the Dream - I recently brought this book, Selling the
Dream, The Art of Early New Zealand Tourism. I get great
pleasure seeing how the world saw us and how we saw ourselves in these vintage tourism posters. The craftsmanship,
colours and details in some of the designs are stunning.

Feelgood Designs - I pretty much love most of the
range from Australian furniture company, Feelgood
Designs. Their range includes classics by Scandinavian and
Japanese designers and I source the pieces from Backhouse
Interiors in Wellington. I quite like this rattan Basket chair maybe for my future home.
