While at first this sounds good, it's also suggesting that homogeneity is a positive thing in the workplace. There are tons of studies and research done which show that in fact, diversity is a strong driving factor in the company's workforce. Diversity is good because we need a variety of perceptions to solve problems and come up with solutions – so actually it's not a good thing for a company if everyone 'thinks like a man'. Source: jezebel.com GOES VIRAL Spanish charity Manos Unidas NGO are aiming to fight world hunger by creating an app. The 'FoodShareFilter' app enables users to raise money and awareness to fight world hunger by sharing food photos on the social media platform 'Instagram'. It's a standalone download which lets users take photos of their meal and apply a message in spanish reading 'this photo helps millions of people to avoid starvation' as well as hashtag #FoodShareFilter. Users can then easily switch the photo over to Instagram and share it with their network. The aim is that each photo shared raises awareness and the app costs EUR0.89 to help fight hunger. As far back as the 1900's there's evidence of ancient blogs being produced. Parents – mainly women used to write about their baby's milestones. They called them baby books and for the first time ever recorded in history it became common for a whole population to write down random thoughts about their babies. Exactly like parents do in online baby blogs today.
