CANADA Day 9. Troy, Erie Canal Lock 11, Amsterdam. Today your river ship will pass through Lock 11 of the Erie Canal on the way to the city of Amsterdam. BLD Saguenay River Coach Cruise No. of nights stay Day 10. Amsterdam, Sylvan Beach. Enjoy a full day on the Erie Canal today, or perhaps visit Cooperstown then meet the ship later at Sylvan Beach. Located in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains, Cooperstown is best known as the Birthplace of Baseball. Tonight, on the shores of Oneida Lake in Sylvan Beach, a performer will entertain you with the history and period music of the Erie Canal. BLD Montreal Clayton Lake Ontario Oswego Day 13. Alexander Bay, Dark Island, Ogdensburg. Today you'll visit the tiny Dark Island in Chippewa Bay and tour Singer Castle. Afterwards, continue cruising for Ogdensburg where you might like to visit the BLD Frederic Remington Art Museum. Day 14. St Lawrence Seaway. Crossing into Canada today, absorb the scenery as you cruise onto the world's largest estuary, the St Lawrence Seaway, dotted with waterfront communities, picturesque islands, BLD and amazing wildlife habitats. Day 15. Québec City. This morning you might choose to visit the Jardin Botanique Roger-Van den hende, or perhaps take a tour of La Seigneurie de I'ile d'Orleans. Either is sure to be a delight to the eye and soul. In the afternoon, a tour will introduce you to the charms of Québec City. BLD Day 16. Rimouski, Les Jardins de Metis. Cruise along the St Lawrence River and pass the Saguenay River en-route to Rimouski. Be sure to keep an eye out as this is one of the world's best locales for whale watching. A private visit and tour of Les Jardins de Metis (also known as Reford Gardens) is sure to be a fascinating one. RV Grande 14 Mariner Amsterdam Troy Poughkeepsie USA New York City Day 11. Sylvan Beach, Oswego Canal. Cruise along the Oswego Canal to Oswego on the shores of magnificent Lake Ontario. You may choose to take a local shuttle on a panoramic loop around this charming area and view some of the highlights. BLD Day 12. Boldt Castle & Garden, 1,000 Islands, Alexander Bay. Cruise to Clayton. Visit the Antique Boat Museum and the Boldt Castle & Gardens, where you will learn of the touching story behind its creation. Few gardens have been built in such difficult conditions as the Québec climate. BLD Day 17. Saguenay River, St Lawrence River. Today your ship will cruise to the Saguenay River, bordered by cliffs which create some of Canada's most stunning scenery. You'll then turn onto the St Lawrence River on the way towards your next destination – Montréal. BLD Day 18. Montréal. Arrive in Montréal this afternoon and enjoy a brief city tour. Then, tour the famous Jardin Botanique de Montréal in Olympic Park. Marvel at over 20,000 species of plants as you explore the 31 gardens that stretch over some 75 hectares of grounds. BLD Day 19.
