Today, you might like to take a whale watching cruise; enjoy a seaplane flight; tour Victoria's historic houses and gardens; go fishing for salmon; take a ride in a horse-drawn carriage; or enjoy afternoon tea at The Fairmont Empress Hotel. Alternatively, join an activity offered exclusively to you as a Platinum Collection guest – go foraging for fresh seafood during an eco-tour or perhaps set off by foot on a culinary tasting tour of the city. Tonight, as the land portion of your journey draws to an end, enjoy a Farewell Dinner & Drinks. BD SMALL-SHIP EXPEDITION CRUISE Day 16. MS Caledonian Sky Cruise. Return to Vancouver by ferry this morning, enjoying an upgrade to the Seawest Lounge. Enjoy time at leisure, then board your expedition ship, the MS Caledonian Sky and settle in to your spacious suite before dinner. Twelve Night Cruise: MS Caledonian Sky in a spacious Caledonian Superior Suite.BD Day 17. Johnstone Strait. Today your ship will cruise through the Seymour Narrows and then Johnstone Strait, which is known to be among the best stretch of orca whale watching waters in the world. BLD Day 18. Fjordland. Take in the wildlife and wonders of Fjordland – a marine park set far to the east of the usual ship route. Watch for the wildlife that calls the park home, including humpback whales, wolves, deer, eagles and bears – among other creatures. BLD 90 Day 19. Misty Fjords National Monument. This morning your ship will cruise into Rudyerd Bay, one of the great bays of Misty Fjords National Monument. Here, gigantic granite domes and huge waterfalls abound. BLD Day 20. Petersburg, Le Conte Glacier. Today cruise the Wrangell Narrows and arrive at Petersburg, a fishing harbour. From here, take a nature walk looking for bears, deer and eagles, among other animals. Later, cruise to Le Conte Glacier where, ice conditions permitting, you'll set off by zodiac to view the glacier as it winds its way down from the Stikine Icefield. BLD Day 21. Tracy Arm, Endicott Arm. Today, cruise along Tracy Arm Fjord, almost ethereal in its beauty, to the foot of the twin Sawyer Glaciers. Set out once more in zodiacs and watch for calving glaciers. BLD Day 22. The Brothers, Admiralty Island. Arrive at The Brothers, an archipelago off the remote coast of Admiralty Island and a true photographer's paradise. Later, explore Gambier Bay, a wildlife hotspot that boasts one of Alaska's densest populations of brown bears. BLD Day 23. Tebenkof Bay, Baranof Island. At Kuiu Island, take off by zodiac to explore the fjords of Tebenkof Bay, which contains home to many marine mammals. During lunch, cruise the Chatham Straits to Baranof Island, a rugged island with many coves, bays and inlets featuring towering peaks with alpine glaciers and multiple waterfalls draining its lush rainforests. BLD Day 24. Point Adolphus, Elfin Cove. On arrival at Point Adolphus, near the entrance to Glacier Bay, watch for the humpback whales that spend summer feeding here. Then anchor near the tiny hamlet of Elfin Cove on Chichagof Island, accessible only by boat or floatplane. Here, a local resident will join you on board to talk about life in such a seldom-visited fishing community. Afterwards, travel to shore by zodiac and enjoy time at leisure to explore.BLD Day 25. Hubbard Glacier. Today cruise alongside the St Elias Range, the tallest coastal mountain range in the world. Enter Yakutat Bay to view Hubbard Glacier, North America's longest tidewater glacier. BLD Day 26. Kayak Island. This morning arrive at Kayak landing and go ashore by zodiac for a guided walk. Later, you may see the immense Bering Glacier as you glide along the coast. LD B Day 27. Prince William Sound. Your ship will take you right past the breathtaking icebergs and coves of Prince William Sound this morning, with the intention of exploring Barry Arm and College Fjord. This evening, enjoy a final dinner on board. BLD Day 28. Seward, Depart Anchorage. Today you'll disembark your ship in Seward and transfer to Anchorage for your onward flight. B
