Day 2: Caesarea - Mediggo - Haifa - Acre Depart Tel Aviv and drive along the coastal plain to Caesarea. Visit the excavations of the ancient city, the Roman theater and aqueduct. Continue to Megiddo, identified as the site of Armageddon, and visit the archaeological excavations including the well-preserved water supply system. Drive to Haifa, for a view of the Persian Gardens at the Bahai Temple. From Haifa, drive to Acre to visit the ancient city and harbor. Day 3: Tiberias - Capernaum - Banias After a short tour of Tiberias, take a boat ride to Capernaum. Visit the remains of the 2nd century synagogue. Proceed to Tabgha, and visit the Church of Multiplication. Continue to Mount of Beatitudes, the place where Jesus delivered the sermon on the Mount. Drive to the Banias Springs and waterfalls, and tour the Golan Heights. Day 4: Nazareth - Beit Shean Drive to Nazareth via Cana of Galilee. Visit the Church of Annunciation, St. Joseph's workshop and Mary's Well. Afterwards discover Yardenit, the baptismal site on the Jordan River, then continue to Beit Shean and visit the Roman theater. Day 5: Old City of Jerusalem Proceed to the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of the city; visit the Church of All Nations, King David's tomb and the room of the Last Supper on Mt. Zion. Enter the walls of the city and visit the Cardo, Temple Mount, Western Wall, Via Dolorosa, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and the Oriental Bazaar. End the day with a visit to the Garden Tomb. Day 6: New City of Jerusalem Drive to Ein Karem to the Church of Visitation, then proceed to Yad Vashem, the Holocaust memorial site. Visit the Israel Museum, the Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea scrolls are housed, and the miniature model of Jerusalem. Proceed to Bethlehem to the Church of Nativity. Day 7: Qumran - Dead Sea - Massada Continue on to Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls where found. Visit the ancient city of Qumran and drive along the shore of the Dead Sea, to Massada. Ascend Massada by cable car and visit the food storeroom, water irrigation system and Herod's Palace. Time and weather permitting, an opportunity will be provided to float on the Dead Sea. Day 8: Transfer to Ben Gurion International Airport for your departure flight. Departure Dates: Tour departs on Sundays returning on Sundays, year-round. *Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and a hat to protect you from the sun, and always carry plenty of drinking water.
