Or you may like to travel by coach to the Ardèche Mountains and on to Boucieule-Roi, where you'll visit its local market. Another option is a bicycle tour through this pretty region. Later today, cruise to Vienne and upon arrival this evening, enjoy a tour. BLD Day 9. Belleville, Beaujolais Region, Lyon. Disembark in Belleville this morning, where a tour will take you through the Beaujolais wine region, the Pays d'Or or 'land of the golden stones' – named for the ochre limestone of its homes and castles. After visiting the medieval hilltop village of Oingt, head to a family-owned and run winery. Here, a member of the family will take you on a tour and shed light on the age-old traditions they employ to produce their wine. Afterwards, enjoy a wine tasting, then continue to Lyon. BLD Day 10. Lyon, Freedom of Choice. Today presents you with the unique opportunity to experience Lyon, considered to be the gastronomic centre of France. Perhaps take a city tour and visit Lyon's expansive botanical gardens, the Parc de la Tête d'Or. Alternatively, embark on a guided bicycle tour along the banks of the Rhône River to the pretty botanical gardens.
