Afterwards visit the spectacular Keukenhof Gardens in full bloom. The park is filled with blooming tulips, hyacinths, daffodils and other spring bulbs. B SET OFF ALONG THE ROMANTIC SEINE Day 6. Vernon, Freedom of Choice. Today you may like to visit Monet's Garden at Giverny. Or perhaps explore the Palace and Gardens of the Château de Bizy. Inspired by Versailles, Château de Bizy is still the home to a branch of Emperor Napoleon's family. BLD Day 7. Rouen. On a walking tour of Rouen, visit its cathedral, marketplace and other historic monuments. Enjoy free time to explore the Museum of Beaux Arts or the Botanical Gardens. Perhaps visit the local markets and try some of Normandy's famous cheeses. BLD Day 3. Arnhem, Kasteel Rosendael, Piet Oudolf, Het Loo Gardens. Travel to Arnhem today to visit Kasteel Rosendael and Piet Oudolf's famous garden. Afterwards, continue to the Palace of Het Loo with its formal garden. Two Night Stay: Apeldoorn, Hotel De Keizerkroon or similar. BD Day 8. Rouen, Freedom of Choice. Today you may like to visit Arromanches, the site of the D-Day landing beaches of the Second World War. Mien Ruys Tuinen, Ada Hofaman's Gardens. Visit two very different gardens today – Mien Ruys Tuinen, so influential in modern garden design, and Ada Hofaman's water garden, with an amazing variety of plants and garden rooms.BD Day 9. Rouen Countryside, Freedom of Choice. Today, you may like to explore the seaside village of Honfleur or visit the gardens of Varengeville-sur-Mer, Le Vasterival and Les Bois des Moutiers.
