Arrive Budapest. On arrival in Budapest, be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure to relax or explore the enchanting Hungarian capital. Two Night Stay: Budapest, Sofitel Budapest Chain Bridge or similar. Day 2. Budapest. Today, enjoy a guided tour of Budapest, which includes highlights such as historic Buda Castle, the distinctive Fisherman's Bastion, the Royal Palace, St Stephen's Basilica and more. This afternoon, enjoy free time to explore the city independently. B Day 3. Budapest. This morning, continue your exploration of Budapest or join an optional tour to the Puszta region in the Great Hungarian Plain (own expense). This vast World Heritage-listed area stretches to Hungary's east and showcases pristine natural grasslands, which is fundamental for the country's agricultural heritage. Stop off for a delicious traditional lunch with goulash, before returning to Budapest to board your luxury river ship. Today, 8 Day (EUBD08) guests join the tour on arrival in Budapest. Tonight, relax and enjoy the Welcome Dinner on board. Seven Night Stay: a luxurious Aria or Concerto river ship. BD Day 4. Bratislava. After breakfast, disembark your ship in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. On a tour, see the Old Town Hall, Mirbach Palace and the Gothic façade of St Martin's 136 Cathedral. Alternatively, visit a selection of landmarks from the city's Communist past, such as the Radio Building, Freedom Square and the Soviet War Memorial. Later, re-board your ship and continue to Vienna. BLD Day 5. Vienna. This morning, take a tour of Vienna. Savour the elegance of the city as you see the Vienna Opera House, the Ringstrasse, St Stephen's Cathedral and more. With this afternoon at leisure, perhaps join an optional tour to Schönbrunn Palace (own expense). This evening, perhaps take in an optional Mozart and Strauss concert (own expense). BLD Day 6. Dürnstein, Melk. Arrive in Dürnstein and enjoy a walking tour. Then take a scenic cruise to Melk, or enjoy a bicycle ride along the Danube River to Melk. Upon arrival in Melk, tour Melk Abbey, one of the world's most famous monastic sites, set high above the town on a rocky outcrop. Afterwards, enjoy free time to explore the town itself. BLD Day 7. Linz, Passau. Cruise to the city of Linz, where you can choose from two excursions: travel by coach to Salzburg and take a guided tour around the city's famous 'Sound of Music' sights (own expense). Or, cruise to Passau and enjoy a walking tour around the historic city, taking in the Old Town, St Stephan's Cathedral, the city's fortifications and more. BLD Day 8. Regensburg. Arrive in Regensburg, one of Germany's best-preserved medieval cities. Disembark your ship for a walking tour of the city's architectural highlights. Alternatively, take a guided bike tour to Walhalla temple, or set out to the Audi factory for a guided tour of the Audi Car Museum or production line BLD (subject to availability). Day 9. Nuremberg. Cruise along the Main-Danube Canal and arrive in Nuremberg. Take a World War II tour and discover key historic landmarks of wartime Germany, such as the rally grounds. Alternatively, enjoy a tour of the city's major medieval sights.BLD Day 10. Nuremberg, Disembark Ship, Karlovy Vary, Prague. After disembarking, 8 Day (EUBD08) guests depart the tour with a transfer to the airport. Remaining travel by coach via Karlovy Vary to Prague. Three Night Stay: Prague, InterContinental Prague or similar. B Day 11. Prague. This morning, take a guided sightseeing tour of Prague's Old Town, visit the courtyard of 9th-century Prague Castle, and stroll across Charles Bridge. After the tour, the remainder of the afternoon is at your leisure. Tonight, perhaps enjoy an optional folklore dinner show (own expense). B Day 12. Prague. With today at leisure to explore Prague, you may like to join an optional excursion to Terezín Concentration Camp Memorial or take an optional excursion to B Lobkowicz Palace (both at own expense). Day 13. Depart Prague. Your tour ends today with a transfer to the airport. B
