Çanakkale, Troy, Pergamon, Izmir. Depart south along the Turkish coast today, stopping in the World Heritage-listed city of Troy, centre of the Trojan War as described in Homer's epic poem, 'The Iliad'. After a guided tour, head to the ancient city of Pergamon. Explore the Acropolis, the Temple of Athena and the library then continue to Izmir, where you'll enjoy dinner in a lovely local restaurant. Stay: Izmir, Swissôtel Grand Efes Hotel. BD ANCIENT EPHESUS Day 4. Izmir, Ephesus, Kusadası. Tour Izmir this morning, then journey to one of the world's best-preserved archaeological sites – Ephesus. With your guide, discover beautiful temples, fountains and frescoes, and visit the Temple of Hadrian, the Odeum, and the Great Theatre. Later, travel to the resort town of Kusadası. Two Night Stay: Kusadası, Charisma Deluxe Hotel. BD NATURAL HOT SPRINGS OF PAMUKKALE Day 6. Kusadası, Pamukkale. Take a trip to the magical natural site of Pamukkale, where for thousands of years, an underground spring has poured streams of hot, mineral-saturated water, creating large circular basins in the earth.
