Explore Prague's Old Town during a Grand City Stay following your cruise of Music' sights, or take a day tour to Ceský Krumlov in the Czech Republic. Alternatively, enjoy a walking tour of Passau, then cruise into Austria and on to Linz, as an apple strudel-making demonstration takes place on board. After dinner, perhaps enjoy an evening BLD stroll through the pretty city of Linz. Day 14. Melk, Freedom of Choice, Dürnstein. Cruise to the delightful Wachau Valley today. Disembark in Melk for a guided tour of Melk Abbey, one of the world's most famous monastic sites. Enjoy an organ recital before embarking on your selected activity. Perhaps take a guided bicycle ride along the banks of the Danube from Melk to ürnstein. D Alternatively, rejoin your ship and continue cruising to Dürnstein, where you'll enjoy a walking tour and a tasting of Wachau Valley wines and brandy. BLD Day 15. Vienna. Disembark in the Austrian capital of Vienna this morning. Enjoy a walking tour of the city, and delight in its striking architecture, classical musical culture and its vibrant cafés. After dinner on board tonight, visit the newly renovated City Palace, a magnificent aristocratic residence in the heart of Vienna. Bask in masterpieces of one of the world's leading private art collections, where there are no less than 30 paintings by the Flemish artist Pieter Paul Rubens. Be welcomed at a Cocktail Reception, then enjoy a private concert featuring some members of the acclaimed Mozart Boys' Choir. BLD 72 Day 16. Vienna, Freedom of Choice. On your second day in Vienna, perhaps tour the magnificent Schönbrunn Palace, the former summer residence of the imperial family and one of Europe's most impressive Baroque palace complexes. Or you may choose to explore the Fine Arts Museum, home to many of the fabulous art collections gathered by the Habsburgs as they added new territories to their empire. Alternatively, visit Vienna's famous Spanish Riding School, headquartered within an opulent and baroque section of the enormous Hofburg Palace. For a different perspective, perhaps embark on a bicycle tour around the fascinating city. Or join an excursion to Bratislava, the capital of nearby Slovakia, and see some of the key landmarks of the city's time under Communist rule. BLD Day 17. Budapest. Arrive in Budapest today and enjoy a city tour, visiting Fisherman's Bastion, the Royal Palace, Buda Castle and many more. Afterwards, visit the Hungarian State Opera House. Absorb the grandeur of the building then venture inside for a tour, a glass of champagne and a private opera recital of two or three ariettas. Tonight, enjoy a Fare ell Dinner, then set off on a twilight w cruise through the city and enjoy the lights of Budapest sparkling around you. BLD THE GOLDEN CITY OF PRAGUE Day 18. Budapest, Disembark Ship, Velké Bílovice, Prague. After breakfast, 18 Day (EUMCPB18) guests depart the tour in Budapest with a transfer to the airport. Remaining guests travel by coach to the historic town of Velké Bílovice for a light lunch in a traditional Czech winery cellar. Afterwards, continue to Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. Three Night Grand City Stay: Prague, Radisson Blu Alcron Hotel.BL Day 19. Prague. Your tour of Prague begins with a trip to World Heritage-listed Prague Castle. Visit Saint Vitus Cathedral then stroll over Charles Bridge on the way to the city's Old Town Square. Later, enjoy a private tour of Prague's premier Art Nouveau building, Municipal House, and see its many historic murals, sculptures and stained-glass windows. Afterwards, relax over a Czech afternoon tea of coffee and cake at Municipal House Café, also built in the Art Nouveau style with high ceilings, mirrors and gorgeous crystal chandeliers. Today, you may like to embark on a tour to Terezín Concentration Camp Memorial for an insight into the Czech Republic's World War II history. Alternatively, visit Kutná Hora, a World Heritage-listed medieval town that's home to the infamous 'bone church', the Chapel of All Saints.B Day 21. Depart Prague.
