Wagga WAGGA-based Rex Flight Attendant Teneal Hanigan has been crowned Community Princess at the crowning ceremony for Miss Wagga Wagga Quest 2013. This is the 65th year of the quest, one of the longest-running charity events of its type in Australia. Rex sponsored Teneal in her quest and General Manager Network Strategy and Sales Warrick Lodge was on hand to present Teneal at the ceremony. Her very proud parents and grandparents were also there to see her crowned. Teneal was shocked but thrilled to receive the title of Community Princess and is excited for the year ahead. "It's going to be a busy year, but I'm definitely looking forward to being an ambassador for Wagga Wagga, locally and abroad," she said. As Community Princess, Teneal, along with Miss Wagga Wagga 2013, will spend her reigning year undertaking many official duties as an ambassador for Wagga Wagga, including: visiting Wagga Wagga's sister city, Kunming, in China; lending a hand at charity events; representing Wagga Wagga at local events; and being a positive role model for young women. Congratulations to Teneal on this fantastic achievement! We at Rex are all very proud and wish you all the best for the coming year! Fast Fact Miss Wagga Wagga Quest has been running for 65 years. The first quest was won by Thena Karofilis. This year's winners are Tracy Coleman and Teneal Hanigan (Community Princess). XIII
