VIKING ORION
ON CHANNEL NINE'S EXPLORE TV
Episode One:
Saturday, February 9 at 4:30pm
is first episode will introduce viewers to
Viking's unique ocean cruising style, with some
fantastic insights provided by our delightful
onboard guests. Beginning in Beijing with
an excursion to the Great Wall of China, the
cameras will then follow Viking Orion as she sails
to Quingdao, Xiamen and Japan's fascinating
Okinawa Islands. Trevor Cochrane will talk to
Viking Orion's resident astronomer and treat the
audience to a peek inside the ship's incredible
onboard planetarium.
Episode Two:
Saturday, February 16 at 4:30pm
is second episode will further explore what
our state-of-the-art Viking Orion has to offer —
from the gourmet food and wine selection to the
Nordic-inspired spa. During the show, Trevor
Cochrane will present the highlights of Japan's
picturesque Ishigaki Island and the spectacular
Chinese city of Shanghai. He will also take the
audience on a vintage tram ride down Hong
Kong's vibrant Nathan Road, with its iconic neon
signs, bustling shops and authentic eateries.
Our award-winning Viking Orion ocean ship will soon be
featured on two new episodes of Channel Nine's Explore
TV series, presented by Trevor Cochrane. Airing this month,
both episodes will showcase our popular Far East Discovery
cruise itinerary, from Beijing to Hong Kong.
