Named after the Egyptian sun god Ra, Viking
Ra is the newest, most upscale ship in Egypt –
specifically built to navigate the River Nile.
Viking Ra ia a modern, elegant vessel.
Designed by experienced nautical architects and
engineers, she is now an all-suite, state-of-the
art ship featuring the sleek Scandinavian design
characteristics for which Viking is so well-
known.
Some of Viking Ra's more unique design
features were inspired by her local Egyptian
environment – think geometric Arabic patterns
and terrazzo floors. ese elements further
encourage our guests to immerse themselves in
their exotic surroundings.
Viking Ra accommodates up to 52 guests
and has three stateroom categories as well as an
outdoor pool, two jacuzzis and a sun deck that
offers 360-degree views. e onboard restaurant,
bar and lounge all serve both regional and
international cuisines.
