with its little 'teethy' mouth and has a munch.
As it does, you attempt to get it firmly in the head
of the tweezers and pull with all your might.
They're tough, slippery buggers and they challenge
you to a decent tug of war, but our guide is happy
that he manages to drag three of them from their
dark, sandy hide-outs. I'm stunned. Who would
have thought worms of that size were slithering
beneath our feet?
Wild, windy night
Back at camp, we settled in for the afternoon,
swimming in the lake, snoozing in our tents and
sitting around talking about life, love and everything
else that came to mind. We ate a simple dinner of
prawns, salad and bread before retiring to the camp
site again and gathering around a fire for some tunes
by local entertainer Geoff Turnbull.
