Here are some of his best ones. Thanks, Mike. Love your work! Name: Mike Ristuccia City: Sydney Number of cruises with us: Eight Tell us about your history with P&O Cruises: My first cruise was as a teenager back in 1983 travelling with my family on the old Sitmar (then later P&O) Fairstar. From that first cruise I was hooked! Later on I worked on Fairstar as one of the ship's photographers—getting paid to go on cruises was virtually the ultimate job! After that I sailed on various cruise ships but more memorable cruises were those on P&O Cruises' Pacific Sun, Pacific Dawn and Pacific Pearl. What do you love most about cruising with us? I'd have to say the crew makes a P&O Cruises holiday special—everyone from your cabin steward who meticulously makes up your room to the entertainment crew and of course the bar staff, who quickly remember everyone's name and their favourite drink! What is your most memorable cruising moment? This has to be Island Night! This open- air deck party is always one of the best nights on a cruise and P&O Cruises does it the best! Everyone is dressed in island gear (grass skirts for the girls and coconut bras for the guys seem mandatory!) and the crew make it special by doing various dance routines with the crowd. What's your favourite ship and why? Pacific Dawn. One of her best features is The Dome, a fantastic place to chill out during the day and party on at night! Pacific Dawn also has an excellent outdoor area with its two pools on Lido deck. What's your favourite port and why? This has to be Mystery Island, Vanuatu. It's an amazing smaller island with a natural, untouched setting. The snorkelling and swimming are excellent, and you can also shop for souvenirs at stalls set up by the friendly locals. couldthis beyou?
