Day 3. Bell Gorge, Hiking and Swimming. Back on the Gibb River Road, we travel through outback landscapes to Bell Gorge, where rugged cliffs surround a series of tiered waterholes. Enjoy the afternoon to explore the spectacular scenery and perhaps swim below the waterfall which feeds the lower pool. The area is also a haven for birdlife and provides an opportunity to go bird-watching. While the energetic can choose from a number of hiking opportunities. Then head back to the Mt Hart Homestead to relax before dinner. Broome, Dampier Peninsula, Beagle Bay, Cape Leveque, Cygnet Bay. Depart Broome and journey north to the spectacular Dampier Peninsula. Stop to discover Beagle Bay Church with its glimmering pearl shell altar before continuing on to One Arm Point. Here, visit the aquaculture hatchery with its reef fish and trochus shells. Head to Cape Leveque for lunch, and take some time out to appreciate its pristine beaches and spectacular coast line. Continue to Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm, the oldest operating pearl farm in Australia, and enjoy a guided cruise to explore the workings. Tonight, hear tall tales of life on the pearl farm from the pearlers themselves as you dine with them in the crew mess, originally Cygnet Bay's old school house. Stay: Cygnet Bay, Kimberley Safari Tent. Day 4. Windjana Gorge, Tunnel Creek National Park, Fitzroy Crossing. Journey to Windjana Gorge where a short walk leads into the gorge. Here, we'll walk along the sandy river banks and come across ancient marine fossils embedded in the gorge walls. Nearby at Tunnel Creek National Park, we'll wade through the 750 metre-long tunnel which is carved through the Napier Range. Tonight, stay on the picturesque banks of the mighty Fitzroy River.
