NORTHERN EUROPE | 41 Day 9. Riga. Today enjoy a sightseeing tour of Riga, the Latvian capital, before a choice of sightseeing options. Visit the Gothic-style St Peter's Church and admire the stunning views of the city, alternatively embark on a kayak journey through the city's canals. BLD Day 10. Visby. Arrive on Gotland Island today and be greeted by the World Heritage-listed walled town of Visby. Perhaps enjoy a walking tour taking in the 12th-century Kruttornet, and Botanical Gardens, or head to Graute Farm to learn about local rural life. BLD Day 11. Klaipeda. In Klaipeda you can set off on a tour including the Martynas Mazvydas Sculpture Park, home to more than 180 works of art, or discover the Plokstine nuclear missile launch site and visit the Cold War Museum. BLD Day 12. Gdansk. Arrive in the old Hanseatic port of Gdansk. See the old quarter including the Gothic St Mary's Church and the Artus Court. Visit Solidarity Square and the Angel of Freedom monument, before strolling the narrow cobbled streets of the Main Town. BLD Day 13. Bornholm Island, Christianso Island. Arrive on Bornholm Island and traverse the lush countryside for an afternoon of gourmet delights. Enjoy strawberry wine, local sausages and a beer tasting. Visit Christianso Island and choose between learning about everyday life on the island; discovering the history of the island's fortress; or embarking on a nature walk. BLD Day 14. Helsingor, Copenhagen. Stopping in the Danish city of Helsingor, head for Kronborg Castle, which Shakespeare immortalised in his play, Hamlet. Later visit the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art. Tonight your ship will dock in Copenhagen allowing you to step ashore and enjoy a night at leisure. BLD Day 15. Disembark Ship, Depart Copenhagen.
