This morning set out on a ferry from Balestrand to Fjærland and take in the amazing views of the Jostedal Glacier. After the ferry ride, board a coach for the journey to Briksdal Glacier in Jostedal Glacier National Park, where this powerful river of ice swoops down from a staggering height of 1,200 metres to the lush, narrow Briksdal Valley. BLD Day 8. Balestrand, Lillehammer. Depart Balestrand today and travel to the nearby village of Ornes. Visit the 12th- century Urnes Stave Church, set against the stunning backdrop of Lustrafjord.
