GLOSSARY Your guide to understanding the intricacies of a Luxury Mega-Yacht cruise with APT. A ADAPTORS & ELECTRICITY The electrical outlets on board the ships, in the suites and public areas, are 220V – 2 round pin European socket & 110V – 2 flat pin US socket. The use of personal hairdryers (there is a hairdryer in your suite), clothing irons, curling tongs, etc. in your cabin is strictly forbidden as they may damage the ships' electrical system. Outlets can charge camera batteries and iPad's etc; however you will need to bring an adaptor. ALLERGIES If you have a food allergy or another condition that needs to be managed on tour, please advise your booking agent as soon as possible, as well as your Cruise Director upon arrival, as most suppliers require advance notice to accommodate this. In some cases you might be asked to fill out a form or waiver. AIR CONDITIONING & HEATING All suites on board our small ships have individual climate control. B BEDDING CONFIGURATION All suites on all ships can be configured as either double or twin share. Please be aware some cabins only allow for twin bedding. Please enquire preference will be noted at the time of booking. BEVERAGES Aboard your cruise, coffee and tea are available free of charge throughout the day and during meals. Bottled water is provided and replenished each day. A selection of complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available all day throughout your cruise. French Champagne, premium spirits and selected wines are offered at an additional cost. During land journeys, complimentary water, tea and coffee are offered during included meals. On select evenings, complimentary alcoholic beverages will also be included with your dinner. BUTLER SERVICE A Butler service is reserved for passengers travelling in suites on Deck 6. Your Butler will look after every aspect of your well-being and be available to fulfil all your expectations. C CABIN ENTERTAINMENT Each cabin is equipped with a Flat Screen TV with satellite service and iPod player for your entertainment. CURRENCY The currency on board the ship is the euro. For your convenience, all purchases and paid services on board are billed to your shipboard account. You will receive a total that can be paid with cash or credit card. The ship does not accept payment made by Diners Club cards, prepaid Visa or MasterCard Debit cards, EFTPOS, Travelex cards, cash passports or travellers cheques. Local currency on shore will vary depending on itinerary and countries visited. For more information enquire at time of booking. For the most up-to-date exchange rate, please check with your bank. D DINING All meals on board your cruise are included. Meals are served in the Grill Restaurant or Gastronomic Restaurant. It is not necessary to make reservations in the main restaurants. On board, enjoy a full buffet breakfast each morning in the main restaurant. Lunch consists of salads, soups, and a choice of entrées, mains and desserts. Dinner is a multi-course meal presenting a selection of entrées, mains and desserts. Casual dining is also available as is 24-hour room service. On land journeys, a full buffet breakfast is included each day. Selected lunches and dinners are also included as indicated on itinerary pages.
