RESTAURANTS ON BOARD Each ship offers a range of high quality dining options. The Gastronomic Restaurant serves classic and contemporary cuisine by expertly trained French chefs. The Grill Restaurant offer a more relaxed setting serving a variety of cuisine options. Here themed buffets are offered for lunch and dinner each day. ROOM SERVICE Room Service is available 24 hours a day to all suites and staterooms. S SHORE EXCURSIONS Participation in shore excursions is at your discretion. If you would like to explore independently, your Cruise Director can make suggestions as to places to visit. You must make sure to return to the ship before it departs. SIGNATURE EXPERIENCES Signature Experiences are included for all guests on APT Mega-Yacht holidays as indicated in itineraries. SMALL SHIP EXPEDITION CRUISING APT offers Small Ship Expedition cruising as a sister product to Luxury Mega-Yacht Cruising. These boutique expedition vessels carry a feet of Zodiacs operated by APT's expert Expedition Team. For further information regarding our range of Small Ship Expedition Cruise itineraries, please refer to the 2018 Small Ships brochure. SMOKING Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside any of our ships, including on balconies in your suite. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas. The same policy applies for electronic cigarettes. SUN DECK The Sun Deck offers space to relax in the open air on Deck 7. T TELEPHONE All suites are equipped with a telephone. It can be used to call between suites as well as from ship to shore. As the telephone system functions via satellite there may be times, depending on routing, when the phones are out of range. Please note this service will incur additional charges. TENDERS Tenders are small local vessels used to ferry passengers to and from the ship when we are unable to dock in port and are therefore anchored just of the coast. The use of tenders will be dependent on your cruise itinerary. THEATRE The theatre is a space where passengers can gather for events and lectures by naturalists, lecturers, experienced guides and specialists. By night guests can enjoy entertainment including musical performances, film screenings and theatrical performances. TRANSFERS Airport transfers must be pre-arranged at the time of booking and flight details need to be provided to confirm this service. W WELLNESS CENTRE The ship's Wellness Centre boasts a range of cardiovascular equipment in a well-equipped fitness room. Use of equipment is at the sole risk of the user. Other amenities available to guests include a Hammam (Turkish Bath), Balneotherapy area offering a range of aromatherapy treatments, massage and hair styling service, available by appointment at guest's own expense. Z ZODIACS Zodiacs are versatile, inflatable boats, which provide a unique platform for observing wildlife and enjoying landscapes from sea level on expedition cruises. They also provide a fast and safe way of going ashore in remote locations. The use of Zodiacs will be dependent on your cruise itinerary. GLOSSARY | 53
