After some time cruising, reflect on the days that have just gone by as you indulge in a Farewell Dinner aboard your ship. BLD DISCOVER THE TEMPLES OF ANGKOR Day 14. Disembark Ship, Siem Reap. Disembark your cruise in Prek Kdam and be transferred to Siem Reap. Once there, head to the World Heritage-listed Angkor Archaeological Park to visit the capital of the Khmer empire, Angkor Thom, and admire the Bayon temple. This evening, enjoy a choice of lovely restaurants for dinner. Two Night Stay: Siem Reap, Hotel Sofitel Angkor. BD Day 15. Siem Reap, Angkor. Rise early and enjoy a special sunrise experience at Angkor Wat, with a glass of champagne. Then set out on a tour of the temple of Angkor. Return to your hotel for time at leisure. This afternoon, explore the temple of Ta Prohm and visit 'Opportunities of Development thru Art' (ODA), a Siem Reap organisation that provides education opportunities for disadvantaged children. Enjoy a Farewell Dinner with your fellow travellers and APT Tour Director. BD ARRIVE & EXPLORE IMPERIAL BEIJING Day 16. Siem Reap, Beijing. Fly to Beijing. On arrival, bet met and transfer to your hotel. Four Night Stay: Raffles Beijing, in a Business Room. B Day 17. Beijing. Following breakfast this morning you will have the day at leisure. This evening, get to know your APT Tour Director and fellow travellers at a Welcome Reception. B Day 18. Beijing. Tour Tiananmen Square and the World Heritage-listed Forbidden City, then transfer to the Summer Palace for a private cruise aboard a traditionally styled boat. After dinner at leisure back in Beijing, attend a Peking Opera show at Qianmen Liyuan Theatre, watch a Kung Fu Show at the Red Theatre or explore Silk Alley market. BL EXPERIENCE THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA Day 19. Beijing, Great Wall of China. Visit the Badaling section of the Great Wall of China and enjoy a private buffet lunch overlooking the wall. Indulge in an authentic Peking Duck banquet for dinner. BLD YANGTZE RIVER CRUISE Day 20. Beijing, Yichang, Embark Ship. After the morning at leisure in Beijing, transfer to the airport and fly to Yichang. On arrival, transfer to your luxury river ship. Four Night Stay: the luxurious Sanctuary Yangzi Explorer. BLD Day 21. Xiling Gorge, Three Gorges Dam. Set off on your cruise along the Yangtze River through the Three Gorges region. BLD Day 22. Shennong Stream, Wu Gorge, Qutang Gorge. In Badong, transfer to a traditional sampan (longboat) and cruise through stunning scenery. Continue to Wu Gorge, and pass between two majestic cliffs on entry to Qutang Gorge. BLD Day 23. Fengdu or Relocation Tour. Today, disembark for a tour of Fengdu, or take a 'Relocation Tour'.
